Leszek Czarnobaj

Senator of the 8 th, 9 th and 10 th term Senate

 

He was born on 12 March 1956 in Kwidzyn.
In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Wood Technology at the Agricultural Academy in Poznań, and in 2003, he completed post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Communication and Marketing at the University of Business and Administration in Gdynia.
In the period 1980-1990, he worked as a dispatch specialist at Zakłady Celulozowo-Papiernicze ‘Kwidzyn’ (pulp and paper plant).
In 1990-1997, he served as the Deputy Mayor, and in 1997-1998 – as the Mayor of Kwidzyn. Between 1999 and 2006, he was the Staroste of the Kwidzyn Poviat. In 2002, he was a member of the Kwidzyn Poviat Council. In 2006-2011, he was a Councillor of the Sejmik of Pomorskie Voivodeship, and between 2006 and 2010, he served as the Deputy Marshal of this Voivodeship.
In the 9 th term Senate, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee.
Leszek Czarnobaj is a member of the Polish Sports Bridge Association, the Polish Hunting Association, the Youth Sports Association and the Association for the Development of the Kwidzyn Poviat.
A husband, the father of two daughters and the grandfather of four grandchildren.
