Born on 28th November 1958 in Dankowice.
Graduated from the Faculty of Mining and Steel Machinery of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow in 1983.
In the 1980s, he worked as a teacher: in a primary school in Dankowice, the Coal Union Complex of Vocational Schools in Tychy and the Coal Mine Mining Vocational School in Wola. 1991–1998 – an inspector of the Regional Board of Education  in Katowice for Pszczyna and Tychy and the head of the Educational Establishments Service Centre in Czechowice-Dziedzice since 1998.
1990−1998 – a member of Bielski District Council. 1998−2014 – a deputy to Silesian Provincial Parliament, 2010−2014 – its deputy chairman.
Chairman of the Management Board in the Catholic Action Diocesan Institute of the Bielsko-Żywiecka Diocese, treasurer of Dankowice Society of Friends and contributing member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Dankowice.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Married.
