Senator of the 9 th and 10 th term Senate

 

He was born on 15 September 1951 in Szczawnica.
In 1974, he graduated in history from the Faculty of Philosophy and History of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
He worked as a teacher in a primary school in Szlachtowa (1975-1976) and in a complex of vocational schools in Krościenko (1976-1980). For the next two years he worked at the city hall of Szczawnica and between 1983 and 1993 – in the state-owned enterprise Spa Szczawnica. In the years 1993-1995, he worked in Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Technicznych i Realizacji Budownictwa (Technical Services and Construction Implementation Enterprise) in the Federal Republic of Germany. In the years 2007-2008,
he was Head of the Educational and Upbringing Centre of the Voluntary Labour Corps. He owns a general agricultural holding.
Between 1995 and 1996, he served as the Mayor of Szczawnica (town and municipality), and between 1999 and 2006 − as the Poviat Deputy Staroste and Staroste in Nowy Targ. In the years 1999-2006 he was a Councillor of the Nowy Targ Poviat Council and in the years 2006-2015 – a Councillor of the Sejmik of Małopolskie Voivodeship.
He is a regional activist and an Honorary Chairman of Związek Podhalan w Polsce (Polish Highlanders Alliance).
Member of the Law and Justice party and its Political Council.
