Born on 26th June 1953 in Wrocław
Graduated in biology from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Wrocław in 1977.
1977–2005 – worked at environmental protection institutions in the provinces of Krosno and Podkarpackie, among others, was the head of the biological laboratory in the Provincial Environmental Protection Inspectorate. Between 1996 and 2001
was a specialist at the board of directors of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Rzeszów.
2006–2010 – a member and the chairwoman of the District Council in Jasło.
Actively participates in the Polish Red Cross. President of the Red Cross Podkarpacki Regional Council in Rzeszów.
Widow of senator Stanisław Zając, who was killed in the airplane crash near Smolensk, works in association named after her husband, which is settled in Jasło.
Member of the Environment Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Seventh Term Senate. Deputy chairwoman of the Environment Committee and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Eight Term Senate.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Widow; has two children.
