Deputy Marshal of the Seventh Term Senate

Born on 17th December 1954 in Czaplinek.
2000 – graduated in administration at the Baltic Higher School of the Humanities in Koszalin.
Began work in 1974. Between 1991 and 1992 worked at the Provincial Administration Office in Koszalin as an immigration officer in the Citizenship Affairs Department.
From 2011 to 2015 – a Senate representative to the National Council of the Judiciary of Poland.
Between 1990 and 1994 was a member of the Białogard City Council, later (2002–2006) – of the Białogard District Council. 1998–2002 and 2006–2007 – a deputy to the Zachodniopomorskie Provincial Parliament. Governor of the Koszalińskie Provice in 1998.
Activist of the Solidarity Trade Union since establishment of the union, worked also for the underground Solidarity at the Central Pomerania region; as a result, several times arrested and sentenced. Till 1998 – the chairwoman of the Koszalin regional board of the Solidarity Trade Union in Koszalin. Co-organizer of the Solidarity Civic Committee.
Member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, the Environment Committee, the Legislation Committee and the Rules, Ethics and Senatorial Affairs Committee in the Seventh Term Senate. Served also as a Secretary of the Senate.
Member of the Emigration Affairs and Contacts with Poles Abroad Committee and the Legislation Committee in the Eight Term Senate.
Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland; member of its national council.
