Born on 14th July 1967 in Lubsk.
Graduated from the Poznań University of Physical Education, Gorzów Wielkopolski Campus.
From 1991 to 2003 he was the owner of Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowo-Usługowe “Dowhan” (a trading and service company). Since 2003 he has been the President of the Management Board of the “Dowhan” company. In the period between 1991 and 2002 held the position of the director of the Zielona Góra branch of MILO (a commercial company). Since 2001 he was a member of the Management Board, and later, the President of Zielonogórski Klub Żużlowy (Zielona Góra Speedway Club). From 2006 to 2013 was the President of Zielonogórski Klub Żużlowy Sportowa Spółka Akcyjna (a joint-stock company); the chairman of Falubaz Pomaga Foundation.
2006–2011 – a member of Zielona Góra Town Council.
Member of the Emigration Affairs and Contacts with Poles Abroad Committee, the Family, Senior and Social Policy Committee and National Economy Committee in the
Eighth Term Senate.
Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland.
Single, has three children.
